Selank (11mg)
$50.00
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue of the endogenous immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin. Research has investigated its anxiolytic, nootropic, and anti-inflammatory properties, including effects on GABA receptor modulation, BDNF expression, and stress response pathways.
Description
What is Selank?
Selank is a synthetic peptide and an analog of the naturally occurring peptide tuftsin, which plays a vital role in the immune system. Originally developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics, Selank is widely recognized for its powerful anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) and nootropic (cognitive-enhancing) properties.
What is it used for?
In research and clinical settings, Selank is primarily studied and utilized for its ability to regulate mood and improve mental clarity. Key benefits and uses include:
- Anxiety and Stress Reduction: Selank helps alleviate generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and stress by modulating neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and GABA.
- Cognitive Enhancement: It improves focus, memory, and learning capacity, making it a popular nootropic.
- Mood Stabilization: Selank can help stabilize mood swings and combat symptoms of depression.
- Non-Sedating: Unlike many traditional anti-anxiety medications, Selank does not cause drowsiness, lethargy, or cognitive impairment, allowing users to remain alert and productive.
- Immune Support: As a tuftsin analog, it also exhibits immunomodulatory effects, helping to support a healthy immune system.

All products from LGI peptides are manufactured using a lyophilization (freeze-drying) process. This method is designed to maintain product integrity and allows vials to remain stable during shipping for approximately 3–4 months.
Once a vial is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it should be stored in the refrigerator to help maintain stability. Under these conditions, reconstituted material is generally considered stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a dehydration technique in which compounds are frozen and then exposed to low pressure. This causes the water in the vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure. This powder can be kept at room temperature until reconstitution.
Upon receipt, products should be stored away from heat and light. For short-term use, refrigeration at approximately 4°C (39°F) is suitable. For long-term storage (several months to years), vials may be placed in a freezer at approximately -80°C (-112°F). Freezing is the preferred method for preserving product stability over extended periods.
